In the inception phase, efforts were made to align the project with national development plans. However, some countries did not respond. However, we advised a follow-up project (for which we developed the original design), to make sure that the country selection needs to be based on the willingness of the country and its respective social partners to engage and needs to be in line with development plans.

Enhance the project's alignment with national development plans and incorporate a broader range of comprehensive tools and approaches, including ILO decent work national diagnostics and similar complete tools. By taking this step, the project can achieve a more precise alignment of its goals and outcomes with the changing needs and priorities of partner institutions and ILO constituents.
