- With the cancellation of SALE II under the US executive order, the funding is not available however we are continuing to support the partner to identify relevant financial resources.

- CCC has already launched the SPARK Competition for 2024, in association with 12 ecosystem partners. ILO agreed to provide partial financial assistance, while the rest of the balance is being covered through CCC and other partner contributions. The ILO will continuously provide technical support to CCC to continue the SPARK competition on an annual basis, with diminishing financial assistance, requiring CCC to source alternative funds for succeeding years. It is anticipated that by 2027, the CCC will fully fund the competition with their own sources.

- The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce should, in dialogue with the ILO, find ways and means to own the Annual Awards Winning Competitions in the future, to encourage young people and their entrepreneurship ideas. Potential sources of funding should be sought for this important event, e.g. through sponsorship.
