Several meetings were conducted with the Directorate General of Charitable Societies at MOSD to discuss how to improve vertical coordination between Planning and Community Partnership Councils (PCPCs) which encompass representatives from government ministers, local authorities, civil society organisations and the private sectors and build the capacities of the PCPCs members. Going forward, these meetings will continue and PCPS members will also be included in capacity building initiatives of the ILO along with government counterparts. Through interactive trainings, partners will be better able to understand the roles and responsibilities of the PCPCs at the local level and strengthen their collaboration on social protection.
