action_plan:
Besides the information under recommendation 7 above, ILO is examining options, and broading up the discussions, to expand the data-sharing agreements. A process is ongoing, with support from ILO, to prepare a draft structure for tripartite data sharing agreement (UNRWA/MOSD/WFP) for shock-responsiveness. ILO is currently finalizing consultations with regard to the establishment of 3SSN [UNRWA/MOSD/WFP] Steering Committee, composed of heads of the three entities, that will take the important role in setting frameworks with regard to data sharing. The ILO will continue to support the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) in the implementation of its sector strategy, including efforts related to the establishment and expansion of Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs) with relevant partners. However, it is important to note that the extension and formalization of DSAs fall outside the ILO’s direct responsibility and remain within the purview of MoSD and the concerned agencies’ decision-making processes. The ILO office in OPT considers that ILO’s role in this regard is to act as a facilitator - supporting dialogue, offering technical recommendations, and providing assistance as requested by its constituents and partners.
