comments:
1. Ongoing project implementation will closely monitor with the implementing partners concerned especially the labour partners to adhere to the selection criteria’s for trainees (mostly to support the youth and women leaderships below 40 as part of incessant growth).
action_plan:
1. Consult and coordinate closely with implementing partners (WRC, BILS) to ensure full compliance with the agreed implementation criteria; any exceptions need to be discussed with the ILO in advance.

title:
Strengthen adherence with the selection criteria for trainees The project had a selection criterion of trainees being under 40. This was to ensure a newer generation of leaders attended the training. This was not followed by all federations. Some nominated older and more senior leaders. Continued awareness raising with these federations is needed and future projects should try to ensure a stronger adherence to set selection criteria.
