The impact of globalization on employment and other aspects of decent work
There is a need to systematically address the relationship between the globalization and the level, structure and quality of employment. Employment creation is the key to inclusive globalization, and national and international policies are needed which aim at favourable employment outcomes.

The impact of globalization on gender and gender equality
Men and women are affected differently by globalization because of their different social positions and command over resources. An assessment of these issues is needed, in order to identify ways of promoting gender equality in the process of globalization.

The impact of globalization on culture and identity
Globalization is sometimes perceived as a threat to culture, or as the outcome of a particular set of western values. How can processes of globalization respect the diversity of cultures around the globe, while facilitating a dialogue between them?
